What we removed on purpose

Most free resume templates you find online look great in Word and fail the moment a parser touches them. Every template here avoids the traps below.

  • Multi-column layouts — parsers read columns as one continuous line
  • Tables and text boxes — content is often dropped or reordered
  • Icons, images, and graphs — most ATS strip them entirely
  • Headers and footers for critical info like your email or phone
  • Fancy or condensed fonts — Times, Arial, Calibri, Georgia are safe
  • Section names like 'Where I've Been' — use standard headings

Score your resume before you send it.

Templates are only half the battle. Run your finished resume through the Eleviac ATS scanner to catch missing keywords, weak verbs, and low-impact bullets.
